HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

This site is probably old and desolate by now to you guys, but I still occasionally visit it and write down or add whatever I feel like.
A lot has happened since I last updated this site: I turned 16 (I'm almost 17 now), loved many new people, found many new friends, and officially ended my sophomore year of high school. I'm writing this about 2 weeks before I have to go back to school, and my nerves are pretty high. Sorry I forgot about you guys! This website is such an important part of me, and looking back on all my old updates makes me rather melancholy. This is like Laur in a nutshell: without this website, I'd have even less of an idea about who I am. Throughout the emotional turmoil, love affairs, and junior year woes I'm experiencing right now, I'm especially grateful to have my own little corner of the internet.

This site serves as an all-encompassing anti-diary: I either gather my feelings and write about them, ignore my feelings by editing my website, or wallow in my own self-pity and check out other peoples' websites. I am currently occupied with the second, since if you've stuck around long enough you have seen all of my website's themes (shoutout to the planetarynebula ogs!). I hope for this website to act as an inspiration for others to create their own webpage and rebel against internet modernity. I appreciate all who have followed me and interacted with my site; it is so nice to be part of such a wonderful, positive community like this one!
